Band Members & Parents should READ THIS ENTIRE SCHEDULE!  It is once again time to start thinking about our summer practice schedule and our band camp schedule.  Listed below is the practice schedule.   Once band camp practice begins, everyone is expected to attend all rehearsals.

REGULAR SUMMER PRACTICE:  Tuesday, July 9, 2002  6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Thursday, July 11, 2002 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
ROOKIE DAY will be Thursday, July 11, 2002 from 8:00 am till 11:30 am.
This is for all first time marchers. ALL first time marchers are expected to attend Rookie Day.

BAND CAMP SCHEDULE: 
-  Week #1 July 15 - 19, 2002
Everyone will practice from 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM.  Percussionists (drummers) will also practice in the afternoons from 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM.

- Week #2 July 22 - 26, 2002
Everyone will practice from 8:00 am - 5:30 PM.

BAND UNIFORMS will be given out on Tuesday afternoon, July 16, 2002 beginning
at 1:00 PM.  If you want a uniform, BE HERE!  This will take a couple of hours.  Plan on being here the entire time.  No one can leave with a uniform until everyone has been fitted.  We may have to do some swapping of uniforms to get everyone fitted.

BAND PICTURES will be made Friday afternoon, July 19, 2002 starting at 1:30 PM if all ordered uniforms have been delivered.   We plan to make the program pictures and the yearbook pictures.  This will take about an hour to complete.

OTHER PRACTICES - The entire band will practice on Tuesday, August 6, 2002 from
1:00 PM til 4:00 PM.  Attendance is expected!

There will be no practice on the first day of school (Thursday, August 8, 2002).  The following will be the rehearsal schedule when school starts through Friday, 
August 30th:
- Tuesday, August 13th   til 4:00 PM
- Thursday, August 15th   5:00 til 7:30 PM
- Tuesday, August 20th   til 4:00 PM
- Thursday, August 22nd   5:00 til 7:30 PM
- Tuesday, August 27th   til 4:00 PM
- Thursday, August 29th   5:00 til 7:30 PM

SATURDAY, AUGUST 31ST  FIRST BALLGAME - GERALDINE-HERE

We are planning to practice after school only ONE day per week after the first ballgame.  We will practice on Thursdays from 5:00 PM til dark.  PLEASE AVOID SCHEDULING OTHER THINGS WHICH CONFLICT WITH THIS SCHEDULE.

After September 2nd, please arrange ALL appointments after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.  If you have any questions, call the band office at (256) 528-2142
